Event Information

In association with Forth Valley College and Lead Scotland, Sight and Sound Technology invite you to the next Getting AT Ready event to be held on the 27th April at Forth Valley College’s Stirling Campus.

Following on from the inaugural event last year, the AT Ready team are back to bring you more exciting and thought provoking ideas to help make your institutions inclusive. We plan to bring together AT experts, disability professionals and manufacturers to provide a holistic package to meet your AT needs. With continued changes to legislation and funding models, ever-more responsibility is being placed on institutions to provide additional levels of support, making the role of effective integrated technology so crucial. We thought a panel discussion including a member of the Scottish Funding Council, might get your ideas flowing, followed by stimulating workshops and an AT exhibition.

Whether it’s proven solutions, or new and innovative uses of AT you are looking for, the day will provide an opportunity to hear from a broad range of professionals and engage in meaningful activities to develop your provision. Experts will be on hand throughout the day, ready with their technical expertise and knowledge, to help shape solutions to meet your student and institutional needs. We would be delighted if you could attend.
